How does Narration on my Tour work?

A Narrative voiceover is now an option on your Video Tour.

Click here to see a sample of a narrated Video Tour.

How do you know what to say?   While the video is being shot, the Realtor will be asked to walk through the home with a voice recorder (provided by Hearth & Home Videos) and record which room he/she is in and any points to highlight.  If there are specific phrases requested, just say so.  The easiest way to do this is to think of yourself doing an open house tour and say what you would like a potential buyer to note in each room.

The Realtor's comments will be incorporated into a "script" that will go on the tour.

Will I (the Realtor) be able to know what the script is before it goes on the web?    Yes, the script can be e-mailed to the Realtor for final approval before the Video Tour is made. Please be aware that any delay in reading and responding to the e-mailed script with changes or approval may in turn delay the completion and posting of the tour to the web.

What if a room doesn't lend itself to any comments (i.e. a standard small bedroom)?  There may be times during the tour with no speaking, and just the background music.  This may be used as a time to talk about the general amenities like C/A, central vac, flooring, new electric, etc.

What about comments or pluses about the location or neighborhood?  During the exterior shots or self-explanatory rooms positives about the general location can be made, for example if a home is near major shopping areas or a park, or convenient to several commuter routes.

Does a narrated Video Tour add cost or turnaround time? Because of the added production time there is a $50 fee to add a voiceover to a tour. The turnaround time may also be increased.
